You should see the doctor, it hurts enough to result in coma and not lose much weight. A week is long enough for any cut in the mouth to start healing. If you go to the doctor, ask the front desk to check to see what a white ring around a cut media. So you might be able to quickly and it is the last patient of the day. You can rinse with warm water and salt to help the healing, but see a doctor.

There are products in the pharmacy to protect wounds against the worm irritations.
